SHIB is the native token of the SHIBA INU network project, originally created as an exercise in decentralized spontaneous community building. Launched in August 2020, SHIB aims to become the “DOGECOIN KILLER’' by pairing Dogecoin’s fun and friendly, meme-based image, with the potential and functionality of DeFi and Ethereum. Since its launch, this meme-token has grown 2,000,000% and has built an active community around its vibrant image and beginner-friendly approach to crypto. SHIBA INU is aiming to launch ShibaSwap soon, their own decentralized exchange that will allow users to take part in staking and liquidity farming. It’s important to note that the top #1, #2, and #5 SHIB wallets hold 50.5%, 7.0% , and 3.0% of total supply respectively. SHIB is an ERC-20 token that runs on the Ethereum blockchain. SHIB has a total token supply of 1 quadrillion SHIB; of which 50% has been locked into UniSwap and the other 50% has been given to Vitalik Buterin.
