STG is the native token of the Stargate interoperability protocol, which can be staked to allow users to participate in the governance of the Stargate DAO. STG can be earned through farming LP tokens, which are obtained by providing liquidity to Stargate’s omnichain protocol.
Stargate is a fully composable bridging protocol from LayerZero Labs that simplifies cross-chain swaps with native assets and maximizes user and DApp flexibility by opening new opportunities for cross-chain DApps without relying on locking/minting synthetic assets or having fragmented liquidity. Using their Delta resource balancing algorithm, Stargate is able to solve the Bridging trilemma to create unified native asset pools on all chains while also providing Instant Guaranteed Finality.
